BMO’s new InvestorLine Trading Platform hosts industry-leading tools with the goal of empowering investors. The platform provides features like Multi-Leg Orders, Options Screener, and Strategy Builder.

The platform hosts intuitive and user-friendly, tools, great for seasoned pros or those just getting started.

The platform also offres additional features that take an investors experience to another level. 

Options Screener

The options screener discovers options strategies for stocks and ETF’s. 

First you pick from the six available themes: Income, Hedging, Bullish, Bearish, Volatile and Neutral. To guide your choices, the platorm explains and details what each theme means as well as giving strategies .

While filtering through a wide range of option themes you can also customize your strategy by mixing an matching options strategies.

Strategy Builder

The Strategy builder tool allows you to input your preferences as well as the stocks you want to look at, with target prices and expiration dates.  Based on your input, the tool will show you the probabilities of reaching lower and higher prices.  

Inside the strategy tool, detailed graphs help guide investors on a step by step base or in an advanced mode for experienced platform users. In addition, you can also utilize your margin account to access funds to invest. 

Analyzer Feature

Once you have identified a single or multi-leg strategy the analyzer helps you to understand the in-depth aspects of the trade including profit and loss scenarios, open interest and volatility. 

The analyzer is available inside many of the tools across the investor line platform.

With just one click the ‘Analyze’ button can go to work analyzing your strategy.  You can adjust the action, quantity, expiration date, strike price and type of contract.  The analyzer can show maximum profit and loss, breakeven points, historical volatility.  Like the other specialized features, the analyzer allows for customized adjustments.
