Safe Supply Streaming (CSE:SPLY) has announced a strategic collaboration between its portfolio company, Safety Strips Tech, and Greenlane Holdings (NASDAQ:GNLN), a global seller of cannabis accessories and specialty health products. The partnership will see Greenlane distribute Safety Strips’ Toxi Shield iodine tablets, a health product designed to protect the thyroid gland from radioactive iodine during nuclear emergencies.

Toxi Shield iodine tablets, manufactured in GMP-certified facilities in the U.S., have been endorsed by health authorities as a reliable preventative measure during radiation exposure events. The partnership comes at a time of heightened global focus on nuclear safety, driven by geopolitical tensions and the resurgence of nuclear energy.

Barbara Sher, Greenlane’s chief executive officer (CEO), expressed optimism about the partnership, stating that “Toxi Shield represents a critical addition to our product offerings, aligning with our commitment to health and safety solutions.
