Sitka Gold (CSE:SIG) is a junior gold, silver and copper explorer based in Canada. The company’s VP of Corporate Development, Mike Burke spoke with Brieanna McCutcheon from The Market Herald at PDAC 2022 on the company’s new discovery in Yukon.

The RC Gold Project is an exploration venture highlighted by 220 metres of 1.17 g/t Au in the Tombstone Gold Belt region.  Four holes followed up the intersection and were better than 1 g/t gold, 100 metres plus for 3 out of 4.

Raising money can be a challenge for any company, but Sitka’s winter drill program allowed the company to release results this past spring, which helped the team raise money and meet financing challenges. The project is permitted, staffed, and ready to go.

The Tombstone Gold Belt in Yukon is host to Victoria Gold’s eagle mine (reserve grade 0.63 g/t Au) and has the same geology as RC – a mirror image mirroring similar potential. Banyan Gold Resource is nearby, also boasting similar geology, affording potential Sitka shareholders a view into potential prospectivity.

The outlook is solid for Sita Gold (CSE:SIG). Gold remains the main focus of the company and its leadership is fairly bullish on its value, though the company’s efforts will be economical and accretive to shareholder value at US$1,800 per oz.
