Mr. Lautens will work with TRU co-founder and CEO Joel Freudman as the company advances its flagship Golden Rose project in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.

“With a recently completed drill program and pending results, I believe this is an ideal time to build a more robust market awareness of TRU’s district-scale gold project,” said Mr. Lautens.

Leaving his role as president, Mr. Freudman continues to be active as TRU’s CEO, focusing his efforts on the company’s strategy and corporate initiatives.

He has served as a key member of management teams during the growth and successful sale of public and private corporations, including a seven-year tenure at Inter-Citic Minerals Inc. until its sale to a large Chinese mining company.

In addition to his international experience and strong communication skills, Mr. Lautens also has a long history of senior board participation in a wide variety of charitable and not-for-profit organizations.

“We are thrilled that Stephen has agreed to bring his extensive wealth of experience to TRU as our new president,” said Mr. Freudman. “Stephen has a solid track record in developing strategies and creating value in companies, and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to unlock value for TRU shareholders.”

TRU Precious Metals is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of gold properties in the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.
