World Copper (WCU) has announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to $1,250,000.

Under the offering, the company will issue up to 6,944,444 units priced at $0.18 per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to acquire one additional share at a price of $0.30 for a period of two years.

All securities issued will be subject to a statutory four-month hold period.

Net proceeds from the offering will be used for general working capital and development costs.
