Doubleview Gold (DBG) has appointed Dr. Elena Musienko to advance the Hat porphyry polymetallic project.

Dr. Musienko, a Professional Geologist, will join the company’s geologic team, bringing with her many years of experience in most fields of mineral exploration and research.

She specializes in project design and management, geophysics, data management, technical, geological interpretation, QA/QC, and grade modelling.

Dr. Musienko’s recent work assignments were with companies based in Vancouver and Saskatoon, with projects in Northwest Territories, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan.

Farshad Shirvani, Doubleview’s President and CEO, commented,

“She is a top-flight geoscientist and […] will immediately broaden our capabilities in identifying exploration targets, managing and interpreting drill cores and analyses, and in integrating geophysical and geological data.”

“I am confident that her impressive record of achievements will continue and that she will be instrumental in helping to achieve our goals for our projects, more specifically the Hat Porphyry Deposit,” added Mr. Shirvani.

The Hat Property is considered a probable porphyry gold-copper deposit with characteristics similar to those of many of British Columbia’s major deposits.

Doubleview acquired the Hat Property in 2011 and has conducted several exploration programs since then.

Doubleview Gold is a mineral resource exploration and development company based in Vancouver.

The company identifies, acquires and finances precious and base metal exploration projects in North America, particularly in British Columbia.

Doubleview Gold Corp. (DBG) ended the day down 1.47 per cent, trading at $0.335 per share as of 3:59 pm ET.
