Clear Blue Technologies (TSXV:CBLU) is piloting its clean, off-grid power systems in Saskatchewan’s agricultural sector in partnership with a provincial electric utility.

This content has been prepared as part of a partnership with Clear Blue Technologies International Inc., and is intended for informational purposes only.

Clear Blue will provide power for cattle watering pumps in remote areas of the province, following the utility’s pilot deployment of the company’s solar lighting systems in 2024, which successfully demonstrated that Clear Blue’s tech can withstand Saskatchewan’s harsh winters and extended nighttime hours.

The company finds itself in the midst of a financial turnaround, instituting a restructuring plan that has seen it cut debt by 61 per cent since Q3 2024, while tripling revenue and reducing adjusted EBITDA loss by 77 per cent – as detailed in the August 2025 investor presentation – better positioning operations to garner market share as the global energy transition continues to pick up steam.

Management commentary

“The Prairies account for the majority of Canada’s cultivated farmland, making it an important agricultural region,” Miriam Tuerk, founder and chief executive officer of Clear Blue Technologies, said in Thursday’s news release. “However, due to the terrain and vast area it covers, power distribution and transmission lines are costly. In addition, there is now an increasing risk of forest fires from traditional power infrastructure. We previously proved our capabilities to deliver mission-critical energy to this utility customer and this new agriculture application is expected to demonstrate our continued value and reliability.”
