Manganese X Energy (MN) subsidiary Disruptive Battery Corp. is working with PureBiotic AIR Inc. to develop air purification systems.

The joint venture partners released an update today as they continue to pursue certification and regulatory registrations for their products.

Disruptive Battery Corp. (DBC) has employed additional resources to expedite the number of Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and other registrations and certifications currently in progress.

At the same time, PureBiotics continues to expand the company’s trademark registrations to countries around the world. The trademark has already been granted in the Americas, Europe, and China.

FDA registration for the PureBiotic® Solution is of immediate interest to the companies because of the expected speed to completion and will increase the partners’ opportunities for market expansion.

Martin Kepman, CEO of Manganese X, commented on the joint venture’s progress this year.

“We continue to evolve our misting solution for the mitigation of pathogens, including COVID-19,” he said, adding, “Research is showing positive efficacy.”

Along with several other registrations already obtained, including NFS approval, DBC has won Green Seal Certification for a number of its original products.

The companies have also progressed in their work on biofilm deconstruction, which is calculated by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to be a factor in 80 per cent of all infections. The deconstruction of biofilm reduces the risk of infection from pathogenic bacteria and viruses, including the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

The company is not making any express or implied claim that it has developed a COVID-19 air management solution at this time.

Manganese X Energy is a Canadian-based junior mineral exploration and development company.

Its subsidiary Disruptive Battery Corp., through its partnership with PureBiotic AIR, has a mission to set up a North American-sourced and USA-based facility for the production of its patented Air Purification and Environmental Control Systems.

Shares in Manganese X Energy Corp. (MN) are up 3.64 per cent, trading at $0.285 per share as of 9:30 am EST.
