Noble Plains Uranium (TSXV:NOBL) released new drilling results from its flagship Duck Creek project in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin, one of the United States’ most prolific uranium districts, including the highest grades intercepted on the property to date.

The latest 20 drillholes reported today, out of 122 reported on since December 1, 2025, are highlighted by:

  • 20 feet of 0.207 per cent eU₃O₈, including 2 feet grading 1.05 per cent eU₃O₈, in drillhole 25-15-115.
  • 17.5 feet of 0.170 per cent eU₃O₈, including 2 feet at 0.875 per cent eU₃O₈, in drillhole 25-16-122.

Both record-breaking intercepts occur within a roll-front system at the heart of ongoing exploration. Drilling to date has confirmed continuous uranium, while proving strong geological support that mineralization extends to the north of the planned program.

According to Thursday’s news release, Noble Plains plans to release a maiden resource estimate for Duck Creek in H1 2026 – with internal forecasts exceeding 5 million pounds, or more than US$400 million in the ground at the current price per pound – keen to substantiate the project’s strategic location among uranium operations owned by Cameco, Uranium Energy and GTI Energy.

Management commentary

“These new program-high intercepts, alongside the consistency we’re seeing across the drilling, show that Duck Creek is not only continuous but improving in quality. This is how a meaningful uranium asset takes shape,” Drew Zimmerman, chief executive officer of Noble Plains Uranium, said in a statement. “As we advance towards our first compliant resource this spring, we are building towards meaningful pounds in the ground with a potential pathway towards production in a supply constrained US uranium market.”

“Seeing higher grades emerge as we move north along the trend is very significant,” added Paul Cowley, chief operating officer of Noble Plains Uranium. “It tells us the roll-front system is not only laterally continuous, but also capable of developing higher-grade centres within that continuity. These latest drillholes were drilled towards the north end of the historical trend and the results are providing strong evidence that the system persists and potentially strengthens to the north, where we have recently expanded our land package.”
