Nova Scotia silver explorer TruSilver Metals is expected to go public through Galaxy Ventures (TSXV:GXY.P) on October 27, 2026, following the completion of a C$2.83 million capital raise closed last week and a qualifying transaction expected to close by October 20th.

The junior miner, to trade under the ticker symbol TAG, is advancing its 100%-owned, royalty-free Sturgis-Walton silver project in Nova Scotia, located adjacent to the historic Walton mine, where ore head grades are reported up to 350-933 grams per ton (g/t) of silver and historical drill intercepts are reported up to 5,754 g/t silver. In late 2025, Rio Tinto staked 2,363 claims under 30 exploration licenses surrounding Sturgis-Walton in the broader Minas sub-basin.

TruSilver’s leadership team brings decades of exploration, development and capital markets experience to the table, including contributions to the discovery or acquisition of more than 30 million ounces of gold, the completion and initial ramp-up of a US$7 billion nickel project, as well as technical and executive roles with Glencore, IAMGOLD, Noranda-Falconbridge, Sibanye-Stillwater and Sherritt International.

The company is preparing for a near-term 3,500-metre drilling program to test mineralization at depth, guided by overlapping magnetic, gravity and audio-magnetotelluric anomalies, which are de-risked by historic drilling, geophysics and 3D modelling. With a drilling permit now in place, TruSilver expects to break ground in early November.
