UniDoc (CSE:UDOC) is working with the Municipality of Aliano in Italy to install an H3 Health Cube at the Territorial Health Centre.

This initiative is driven by Mayor Luigi De Lorenzo and aims to enhance primary health care services for Aliano’s citizens. In a news release on this announcement, he said, “Focusing particularly on the distances to regional hospitals and the challenges our community faces, especially to better support the fundamental activities of general practitioners, I would like to present the innovative solution of the Health Cube territorial health centre by Unidoc Health from Canada. This will represent a step forward to improve territorial health care assistance for Aliano and its surrounding areas.”

Announced last month, this is part of the Italian government’s designation of UniDoc Health as its preferred e-health solution for rural communities. The Health Cube centre is designed to deliver essential healthcare services directly in Aliano. Its e-health AI and connected medical instrument technologies are intended to reduce the need for long-distance travel, given the geographical challenges of Aliano, with its distant regional hospitals. Continuous health monitoring and remote consultations will be accessible to the community.

Equipped with telemedicine technologies and cutting-edge medical devices, the Health Cube is designed to provide precise diagnoses, remote consultations with specialists and continuous health monitoring. These services are essential for managing chronic illnesses and offering immediate diagnostic tests. Personalized prevention programs and regular monitoring of health conditions will help in the early detection of anomalies and ensure timely intervention.

By coordinating continuous care and enabling remote monitoring by doctors, the Health Cube centre can optimize healthcare services in Aliano. In cases of serious conditions, the centre will refer patients to the appropriate hospital departments, ensuring a quicker and more efficient care process. This initiative aims to reduce the travel burdens associated with disease prevention, monitoring and post-hospitalization care.
