Trillion Energy International (TCF) has closed the first tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private placement.

The company issued 46,368,643 units priced at $0.165 per unit for gross proceeds of $7,651,000.

Units include one common share and one half of one share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share for $0.45 for a period of two years from the closing of the offering.

The warrants include an acceleration provision.
